Service Description

This course is designed for high school students who love to write fiction and want to connect with other teen writers. Over four weeks, students will learn techniques that address essential elements of storytelling craft such as character development, plot structure, dialogue, setting and worldbuilding. Students will also give and receive feedback on their own creative work. Each class will begin with a 45-minute story craft mini-lesson on story craft, followed by fun, relevant writing exercises. The second half of class will consist of sharing and critiques of student work. This workshops is limited to ten students.
